Marilyn E (Jukes) Poole , VRHS Class of 1969
Marilyn Poole, 74, of Castleton On Hudson, passed away Tuesday, September, 16 2025, at her home with her family. Marilyn was born June 15, 1951, in Albany, N.Y., the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Etta (Allen) Jukes. Marilyn loved to bird watch, cheer on her beloved N.Y. Yankees and grandkids ball teams, enjoy lunch dates with the civil service ladies, and games (especially dominos) with friends and family. She was a Secretary for N.Y.S. dept of Civil service for 40 years before retiring in 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Thomas Poole Jr., and her devoted daughters, Amy B. (Michael) Dickerson and Alyssa M. (Eugene) Kipniss. Marilyn was the proud Nana of Emma, Seth, and Louise. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
