Leonard, Thomas M. AUSTIN, Texas Thomas Michael "Tom" Leonard of Austin, died peacefully on August 24, 2007 at the age of 68. Born January 10, 1939 in Albany, N.Y., he was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Leah Leonard, and his daughter, Mary. Tom graduated from Van Rensselaer High School in 1956, graduated from Hudson Valley Technical Institute, and attended Marist College. He retired from IBM after 28 years. Tom will be remembered for inspiring and blessing many people as a great husband, father, grandfather, mentor and friend. Tom is survived by his ex-wife Lois Leonard; daughter, Kim Paul, her husband Brian; daughter, Beth Donnelly, her husband Marc Connelly, grandson, Joshua Garza; daughter, Ann Leonard, her husband Gary Wahl and grandsons, Jack and Andrew; son, Tom Leonard, his wife Allie and grandchildren Derek and Kate; sister, Barbara Daigle, her husband Joseph; brother, Bill Leonard, his wife Rose; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 4311 Small Drive on Wednesday, August 29 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in his name can be made to Catholic Charities, 1817 East Sixth Street, Austin, TX 78702.
