Allen J Robichaud, Sr , VRHS Class of 1966
STILLWATER - Allen J. Robichaud Sr, 75, of Price Rd, passed away on January 19, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Fort Kent, ME, he was the son of the late Albert and Mary Corbin Robichaud, Sr. Allen was a union carpenter for most of his life, working for McCloud Construction and Albany Steel, to name a few. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a music lover who enjoyed the likes Bobby Dylan and Joe Cocker. He also enjoyed watching most sports; however he especially loved the NY Yankees, NY Giants and NY Knicks. A man who loved to eat, he also was happy taking drives to take in all the local scenery. Allen had two cats that meant the world to him and that he loved dearly. Survivors include his children, Tina(William) Clements, Lila(Eric) Bourgeois, Tammy(Jeffery) Griffin, Lisa(Edwin) Coons, and Allen Robichaud Jr, his grandchildren Casey(Dan) Waldron, Cody and Corbin Clements, Ryan and Jenna Bourgeois, Hannah and Owen Griffin, Chloe, Hunter, Jacob, and Tyler Coons, Adrianna and Jayden Robichaud, Justin Rodriguez, and Brandi and Briana Humphrey. Also his great grandchildren: Parker, Paige, Conner, and another due in March from granddaughter Casey, as well as many nieces and nephews. Allen, one of 14 children, is survived by 7 sisters and 2 brothers and was predeceased by 2 sister and 2 brothers. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
