West Sand Lake-Holly Theresa Zobre died suddenly at home from a seizure disorder on September 14, 2002. Ms. Zobre was born August 26, 1984 in Albany, New York. She was a 2002 graduate of Rensselaer High School where she was an honor student and an active participant in chorus and band. She was enrolled in the Nursing Program at Hudson Valley Community College. Ms. Zobre was a member of the American Institute of Japanese Karate and earned her black belt in karate in 1994. Ms. Zobre was a former competitive fighter and became a national champion. Loving daughter of David and Terri (Braman) Zobre and beloved sister of LCPL Eric Zobre, Cherry Point NC and Heather Johnsen (Eric), Albany NY. Half-sister to Jonathan Hover, Rensselaer NY. Aunt to Austin Hover, Stuyvesant Falls, NY. Cherished granddaughter of Annette (Daoust) Braman of Rensselaer, NY and William Zobre Albany, NY. Niece of Deborah LaRoe (Jim), Diane Zobre, Schenectady, NY Doreen Graham (Bernard), PA. Donna Baxter (John), Rensselaer, NY Donald Zobre (Betty), NJ, Denise Lauer (William), Schenectady, NY, Douglas Zobre (Terri), Poughkeepsie, NY, Daniel Zobre (Connie), Nassau, NY, Dwight Zobre (Susan), Clifton Park, NY, Darrel Deguile (Joe), Duanesburg, NY, Diane Braman, Rensselaer, NY, Joanne Braman, Schenectady, NY and Edward Braman, Washington DC. Remembered lovingly by her many, many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends. Predeceased by her Poppy William Braman and grandmother Elinor Zobre. We miss her already (mom and dad). Relatives and friends were invited to call at the W.J. Lyons funeral home. A Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was offered at St. John's Church Herrick Street Rensselaer. Interment in New Rural Cemetery East Greenbush.
