Keneston, Walter Jr. "Butch" RENSSELAER Walter "Butch" Keneston Jr., 66, passed away on December 3, 2013. He was a loving and devoted father to his four children. He was born in Albany, son of the late Alice and Walter Keneston Sr. and lived in Rensselaer most of his life. Butch served in the military and recently retired from the State of New York and was a member of the Gerald O'Neil American Legion Post 1683 in Rensselaer. He is survived by his four children, Scott, John and Rachel Keneston and Suzanne Caudell; and siblings, Laureen Keneston and Denise Muller. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, Tracy Cotugno and Donnie Dietz and Lynn Keneston, mother of his children John and Rachel. Loving grandfather of Kevin Keneston, Anthony Fisher and Braden and Brooklyn Caudell. He was a wonderful father to his children, always made people laugh and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed trips to Florida with his children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed. Butch will be remembered Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer. Calling hours are from 2-3 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. Interment with military honors in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
