Kathryne "Kathy" Ketzer , VRHS Class of 1965
TROY Kathryne Kathy Jane Ketzer, age 58 years, daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Ketzer, died on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 7:05 p.m. in St. Mary's Hospital after a long battle with diabetes. She entered into eternal life peacefully. She loved her church in Glenmont, the Solid Rock Church, which she was a devoted member for over 35 years. She was born and educated in Rensselaer. She was the loving mother of Theresa Brough; the loving dear grandmother (Bema) of Amanda, Brianna and Jason, and soon to be great-grandmother of Baby Diaz and Michael. She is the sister of Joan Gallagher, Robert Ketzer Sr. and the late Carol Ann Przekurat; stepmother of Sheryl; loving companion and friend of Hubert Springle; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the Solid Rock Church, 1 Kenwood Avenue, Glenmont, Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. All are invited to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the church prior to the service from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
