Jane F (VanVorst) Steinbach , VRHS Class of 1954
RENSSELAER Jane F. Steinbach, 84, of Rensselaer, passed peacefully Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Van Rensselaer Manor. Jane was born in Rensselaer to the late Hooper and Marjorie Van Vorst. She was a homemaker and worked for Joys Dept. Store. She was an avid Bingo fan but most of all enjoyed time with family as Mom and Grammy Predeceased by her husband, Rodney E. Steinbach; sister, Marjorie Cheetham; and her brother, Hooper VanVorst, Jane is survived by her four daughters: Paula (Michael) Micheli, Donna (James) Pendolino, Maria (Matthew) Johnson and Barbara Jane (Patrick) Buell; and two sons: Joseph (Barbara) Steinbach and Jay Steinbach; four grandchildren, Jess, Gina, Michael C., Shelby Nicole. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
