Endres, James M. Jr. RENSSELAER James M. Endres Jr., 63, of Rensselaer died on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital. James was born in Albany, the son of James and Alice (Kochan) Endres Sr. He was a mail clerk for the New York State Department of Education who retired in 2004 after many years of service. Jim was a fan of the arts, a lifetime member of the James Ring Fire Company in Rensselaer and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era. James is survived by his wife, Sandra L. (Butler) Endres; two sons, Eric J. (Dana) Endres, and Brad A. (Janelle) Endres; one sister, Alice France and nephew Matthew. He was the proud grandfather of Mae, Emma, and Zachary; godson of Helen Fischer; and brother-in-law of the Butler family. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral ceremony was at Wm. J. Rockefeller funeral home and at the Historic St. Mary's, 10 Lodge St, Albany, for the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial. Interment is in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
