Michele K Cramer , VRHS Class of 2007

Rensselaer-Michele K. Cramer, age, 21, of Rensselaer entered into eternal life Saturday August 28, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long battle with Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T). Michele lived in the city of Rensselaer all her life.

She is a 2007 graduate of the Rensselaer City School System. She was amember of the Clever Pin Spotters Bowling League in Schenectady. Michelealso took many vacations with her family, and would always light up the roomwith her smile and wittiness. She was known for her one liners. Michelewas full of life and loved to live life to the fullest. Michele didntconsider herself disabled, but differently-abled. She wouldnt let herdisability hold her back; she always found a way to do the things that sheloved. She took many trips to the Racino, and to the Mall with her familyand friends. She had a love for shopping, playing bingo with her campfriends, lottery tickets, puzzles, bowling, parties, taking pictures andpainting. Michele was an avid artist and loved to raise Butterflies.

Beloved daughter of David A. and Mary K. Cramer of Rensselaer; loving sisterof David A. (Joanna Waight) Cramer, Jr., Scott C. (Emily Snyder) Geer andher little sister and best friend Amy L. Cramer. Cherished granddaughter ofThomas J. Brophy, Sr. (Donna), Lee and Larry Keneston and the late Robert O.and Jean M. Cramer. Michele was also loved her Sidekick and Big SisterAngela Cramer. Long time best friend and accomplice Stephanie Boughton,Personal Assistant (Cousin) Monica Johnson, several aunts, uncles, cousins,many, many friends and especially loved by her faithful dogs Scruffy andIsu. With a broken wing she still sings man you should see her fly!!! We willmiss you always Michele, our Angel, our Butterfly!!!

Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington AvenueRensselaer Wednesday morning at 9:30 and 10:30 at St. John The Evangelistand St. Joseph Church Herrick Street Rensselaer, where the Liturgy ofChristian Death and Burial will be offered. Relatives and friends areinvited and may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Interment willbe in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Micheles memory may be made to the A-TChildrens Project 668 South Military Trail Deerfield Beach, Florida 33442.The family would like to make a special thanks to all of Micheles doctorsand nurses and caseworkers for the love and support shown to Michele and ourfamily.
