Gloria (Coons) Bennett , VRHS Class of 1962
Gloria Jean Bennett, 81, of Rensselaer, passed away Tuesday, November 12th 2024, in St. Peter's Hospital. Gloria was born August 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Clayton and Myrtle (Blowers) Coons. Her interests included going on cruises to Bermuda, going to casinos, spending time with family and friends, playing on her computer, and reading. She loved spending time at the Rensselaer Senior Center and watching Donny Elvis. She was a machine operator for Morgan Linen for 25 years. Survivors include Dawn (Mike) Sehl, Kendra (Mike) Sehl, Sandra (Harold) Tilley, and Tina Faggans; Two Sons, Richard (Tina) Sehl, and Edward Faggans; son-in-law Pat Rosney; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Daughter, Michelle P. Rosney; and her siblings. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
