Rensselaer- Barbara F. Stock age 83 passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Van Rensselaer Manor. Barbara was born in Rensselaer and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a founding member of the Rensselaer Volunteer Ambulance Service. Barbara was an active member of many community organizations revolving around her children and St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Barbara was known for her beautiful cakes and the Easter candy she made every year. Daughter of the late Clarence and Beulah Jeffries. Wife of Charles W. Stock, Sr. Mother of Tracey L. Stock, Tammi L. Stock (John), Kristi B. Winston (Ryan) and the late Charles W. Stock, Jr. Grandmother of Antoni and Brandon Sousa, Calin Stock and Abigael and Jaxen Winston. Also survived by her sister Donna, her best friend Kathy Collins and several great grandchildren. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer, Friday, May 6 at 11AM. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
