Ethel A Center , VRHS Class of 1936

Ethel A. Center was born on December 6, 1919, in Cambridge, NY, and died on November 21, 2022, in Albany, NY.
A 1936 graduate of Rensselaer High School, she retired in 1985, after 44 years with Sterling Drug, Inc.
She was a member of the Community Congregational Church of Clinton Heights, serving in many positions, including 42 years as church clerk. She was also VP and Pres. of AARP Renss. Chapter. Her favorite activities included yarn/needle crafts, reading, word puzzles, bowling, and especially domestic and international travel.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter G. Center, Sr. and Edith M. Cotton, her twin sisters Elizabeth (Edward) Preston and Beatrice (Glen P.) Cook, and her brother Walter G. Center, Jr. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will miss "Aunt Ethel" greatly.
