Christina A. Beruta
October 12, 1951 -- February 19, 2026

Christina A. Beruta passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026.

Born in Albany, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Stammel. Christina was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Christina dedicated more than 30 years of service to New York State, working as a computer programmer until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Ronald Beruta. Together, Christina and Ronald built a life centered on love, laughter, and shared passions. They especially enjoyed traveling, attending concerts together, listening to music, and spending their winters at their home in Florida. Those seasons were filled with sunshine, companionship, and cherished memories.

Christina found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved sewing, often creating thoughtful pieces for family and friends, and she was an avid reader who could always be found with a good book close at hand. Her gentle spirit and creative heart were evident in everything she did. She had a close group of friends who will deeply miss her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Dustin Beruta and Derek Beruta, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was predeceased by her siblings, Charline and Betsy, and her half-siblings, Jack and Joan.

A celebration of Christina's life will be held on March 4th, with the venue to be determined. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor of a life well lived and deeply loved.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Central Kitchen in Christina's memory.

Christina will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her quiet strength, and the beautiful life she shared with those closest to her. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
