Janet Elizabeth (Welsh) Wagner , VRHS Class of 1959
Janet Elizabeth (Welsh) Wagner, age 75, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015. Born and raised in Rensselaer, she was a graduate of VRHS. Beloved mother of Chris Wagner of Arizona, Kim Faucher (William) of Portland, Maine, Rhonda Wagner of East Greenbush, Frederick Wagner and Troy Wagner of Rensselaer. She was the daughter of the late James and Helen Welsh and in addition to her parents was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Wagner; sister Virginia Welsh and brother Donald Welsh. She was a loving sister to Shirley Connell (James), James Welsh (Jane), Frank Welsh (Helen), Lillian Dominski, Mary Jane LaPorta (Richard) and Helen DiTullio. "Nana" to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life was be held in her honor on Tuesday, August 18, 2015.
