Paige, Ailsa E. (Bailey) COLONIE Ailsa E. (Bailey) Paige, age 87, passed away on August 1, 2015, at St. Peter's Hospital. The daughter of the late Ivan R. Viola (Mergenthaler) Bailey, she was born on August 29, 1927 in Oneida. Ailsa resided in Colonie for more than 50 years. She was employed by the New York State Department of Labor for 25 years. She had a love for travelling and was always donating to various charities. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward L. Paige and her siblings, Jean Farrell, Louis E. Bailey, and Richard Ivan (Eleanor) Bailey. Ailsa is mother to Douglas Paige, Steve (Julie) Paige, Kathy (the late Lynn) Newland, Merilee (Marshall) Roberts, Denise Lively, Edwards L. (Lisa) Paige Jr., Thomas J. (fiancee Patricia Lester) Paige; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
