Betty (Davis) Lehmann , VRHS Class of 1946
Betty D. Lehmann, 97, of Rensselaer, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Betty was born in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late Edmund M. Davis, Sr. and Addie (Reed) Davis. Betty worked for the NYS Department of Civil Service where she administered exams and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of East Greenbush. She spent her life caring for her family and cherished her summer vacations spent on Lake George. Betty is survived by her son, Peter G. Lehmann; proud grandmother of Robert G. (Lauren) Lehmann and Megan L. (Christian) Baffuto; and "Nanny" to Nina and John Baffuto and Gracie and Emma Lehmann. She was predeceased by her husband, George J. Lehmann, Jr.; Daughter-in-Law, Barbara J. Lehmann; and brother, Edmund "Pete" M. Davis, Jr. A special thanks to the Eddy Visiting Nurse Association for providing care and fulfilling Betty's wishes to be home.
