Norma (Karrau) Hall , VRHS Class of 1946
Norma Jean Hall, 83, a resident of Fitch Road, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at her home. Born July 6, 1928, in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence Reed Karrau. She was a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs, and a loving daughter and mother. A former 4-H leader, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking and spending time with her family. When asked what she did each day, she would say, "A little of this, and a little of that." In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Hall; and her sister, Ann Hall. Survivors include her son, John (Gail) Hall of Saratoga; her daughter, Louise (Steve) Winney of Saratoga; five grandchildren, Jackie (John) McGuire, Amy Hall, Ben Hall, Steven Winney and April Winney; two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Abigail McGuire; and nieces and nephews, Robert Hall, Mary Ann Parisi, David Hall, Lisa Schwartz and Christine Conto. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Saratoga Springs.
