Austin, Esther M. KINDERHOOK Esther M. Austin, 82, of Kinderhook, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at her home. Born August 24, 1929 in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Clara (Broughm) VanBuren. Mrs. Austin was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Valatie. She was very involved within the church, singing in the choir and serving as a Deaconess for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Farrell (Donald) of Kinderhook; one son, Robert Austin (Dianne) of Liberty, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Todd (Lori) and Craig (Stacy) Austin, Cody, Ryan and Caitlin Farrell; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Miley and Brody Austin, Madison Wilkins and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman R. Austin. Funeral services at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Valatie, with Rev. Nick Becker and Rev. Kathi Jones officiating.
