Wayne Felt, Sr , VRHS Class of 1969
Wayne Henry Felt, Sr., age 75, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 15, 2025. Born on April 8, 1950, in Albany, he was the son of the late Arthur H. Felt, Jr. and Frances (Lane) Felt. Wayne was a high school graduate and spent more than 30 years working as a mixer at Freihofer's Bakery, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Wayne was a proud member of the Melvin Roads Post #1231 and the Rensselaer Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4446. In his free time, he found great joy sailing on the Hudson River aboard his pontoon boat and fishing with his sons. A lifelong car enthusiast, Wayne enjoyed classic cars and spent many years working on automobiles in his younger days. He was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching UFC and boxing. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Dale Marie Felt; his sons, Wayne H. Felt, Jr. and James K. Felt; his cherished grandchildren, Catherine, James, and Annastasia Felt; and his brother, Arthur D. Felt. Burial will be in New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush.
