Robert Earl Pickens , VRHS Class of 1961
TAMPA, Fla. Robert Earl Pickens passed away peacefully on May 4, 2017, after a long battle with cancer. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Pamela (Miller) Pickens; and three children, grand and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby P. Lockhart of Patterson, N.J. and Denise M. Harris (Dornn) of Newburgh, N.Y.; four brothers, Albert Tenachie of Rensselaer, Alvin of Waynesboro, Miss., Raymond of Schenectady and Ronald Mohammad of Utica. A celebration of life ceremony was held at Heritage Isle Golf and Country Club on Saturday, June 3, 2017
