Barbara Jean Greene , VRHS Class of 1968
RENSSELAER — Barbara Jean Greene, 68 of Rensselaer, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at home. Barbara was born in Albany, the daughter of the late George and Margaret Greene. She was a clerk in the Title Bureau for N.Y.S. Dept. of Motor Vehicles for over 20 years before retiring. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Gregorio Torres Jr.; and her siblings, George Greene and Paul Greene. She is survived by her daughter Yvette Smith; two sons, Gregorio Torres III and David Torres; siblings, Nancy Greene, Joyce Polito, Kathy Canfield, Mary Greene, Joan Greene, Janet Powell, Sharon Blowers, and William Greene. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush.
