Richard "Rick Or Rich" Fonda , VRHS Class of 1965
Richard R. Fonda 67, better known as "Rick or Rich", passed away on October 20, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Rich was a Lifetime member of the J.N. Ring Firehouse on Second Avenue in Rensselaer, a member of American Legion Post #1231, and American Legion Patriot Riders He left behind his wife of 47 years Barbara and a dear close friend Leslie Millhouse., Rich has one living brother, Walter and his wife Gloria Fonda; plus many nieces and a nephew Byron Fonda. Richard was predeceased by his younger brother, Mark Fonda and his parents George and Ruth Fonda. Friends and Family are invited to Ride with "Rick" to his final resting place. Kick stands up Saturday 11:00am assembling in the Funeral Home Parking Lot. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
