Donations, Fundraisers, Events and Reunions

 

Monetary donations to the Alumni Association are vital to allowing our Alumni Association to contribute to the margin of excellence achieved by the Rensselaer City School District.  It's a small way for us to give back to help provide a head start for the next generation of children growing up in our hometown.  That little extra level of interest and support could make the difference in someone's life for which they will be forever grateful.  Your generosity allows our Alumni Association to continue to accomplish the important activities outlined in the annual membership drive mailing.  It also paves the way for future Hall of Fame inductees who distinguish our community and make us all proud to say "I am from Rensselaer".

 

Monetary donations are accepted continually by sending a check along with a membership application to the school address made out to:

We are recognized as a public charitable organization by the IRS and are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions. You may use the IRS.gov website to determine the deductibility of contributions. Our EIN is 61-1661824.

Non-monetary Donations

The Alumni Association is always looking for members to help by providing their time at membership meetings, fundraising events and activities.  Just attend a monthly meeting or send in a membership application to be added to the email list for notifying members of the events and help that may be needed.  Or, if you see an event that you would like to attend or help with you can send an email to .us and let us know the specifics. 

We also accept mementos from your time as a student of a Rensselaer City School.  These mementos are put on a rotational display in the Alumni Association cabinets in the main hall of the Rensselaer High School wing.  Please send an email to .us to let us know what you would like to donate and arrangements will be made for the receipt of the item(s).
