Audrey (Jones) Brady , VRHS Class of 1972
Rensselaer- Audrey JM Brady, 68, passed away on August 31, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on November 3, 1954, to Anita and Russell Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer. She was a graduate of Rensselaer High School and Austin Beauty School. Audrey owned her own beauty salon, The Cutting Place, for many years in Albany. She enjoyed spending time at home with friends and family. Audrey is predeceased by her first husband, Matthew J. Apple, Jr. and her two sisters, Nancy Gootz and Yvonne Daniels. She is survived by her siblings, Roslynn Miller, Annette Freeman and Russell Jones (Theresa); her four sons, Matthew J. Apple, III, Andrew Apple (Johnna), Eric Lauer (Amy) and Jason Lauer (Emma) as well as eight grandchildren.
