Carmela M Savoca , S&F
ALBANY Carmela M. Savoca, 83, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Teresian House. Born in Albany, she was the beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Lavenia Savoca. Carmela graduated from the Vincentian Institute and The College of St. Rose. She taught for over 40 years in the Rensselaer Public School District. She was a lifelong parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany, and over those years volunteered in countless ways for the parish. She enjoyed her family, hiking and the Pyramid Lake Life Center. She was the dear sister of Josephine O'Brien; sister-in-law of the late William O'Brien; beloved cousin of Antoinette Tomlin, Phillip Genovese, Christina Mejias and the late Thomas Genovese; she is survived by several other dear cousins and friends.
