Plue, George A. Sr. RENSSELAER George A. Plue, Sr., 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital. br> br> Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Harold and Anna Mae (Ellis) Plue. George was a resident of Rensselaer for all of his life. He served in the Air Force Reserves for seven years. George also worked for Yankee Doodle Taxi. He was a member of the Gerald O'Neil VFW 1683 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 4446. In his free time, he enjoyed camping with friends. br> br> Along with his parents, George was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Marie (Diamond) Plue and brother, Harold Plue. He will be missed by his loving wife of 8 years, Kathleen Plue; children, Al (Dawn) Plue of Castleton, Jackie (Glen) Fish of Albany, George Plue, Jr., of Rensselaer, Christopher Plue of Albany, and Stephanie Plue of Albany; stepdaughter, Dana Kelly of Pittstown; seven grandchildren; siblings, Jean Plue and Catherine (Pat) Murphy, and many nieces and nephews. br> br> A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Boulevard, Rensselaer, NY 12144 in George's name.
