Russell, Evelyn K. EAST GREENBUSH Evelyn K. Russell, 90, of Evergreen Commons Health Center, died peacefully July 22, 2007. Evelyn was born May 22, 1917 in Rensselaer, daughter of the late Eva Hall and Joseph Kirsch. Educated in the Rensselaer public schools, Evelyn was the office man-ager for Grey & Russell Plumbing and Heating of Rensselaer, and later worked for Albany International, Menands headquarters and their subsidiaries and retired in 1980. She was the beloved wife of the late S. Gardner Russell and was predeceased by two sisters Agnes K. Brooksby and Susan Kirsch and a brother, Joseph D. Kirsch Jr. Survivors are two devoted sisters, Jane Kirsch of E. Greenbush and Rose K. Phelan of Boxford, Mass. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives and friends attended a graveside service at the Greenbush Cemetery, Rt 9 & 20, East Greenbush. Contributions may be made to Hudson Mohawk Society, 1 Oak Ave., Menands, NY 12204
