Patricia Ann (Bruce) Gee , VRHS Class of 1955
ALTAMONT - Mrs. Patricia A. Gee, 52 of Route 146 died yesterday at home after a long illness. Born in Albany, Mrs. Gee graduated in 1955 from the former Van Rensselaer High School in Rensselaer. She moved to the Altamont area in 1970. Mrs. Gee was a manager and treasurer of the School Systems Federal Credit Union, now in Albany, which she helped establish in 1969. She retired in 1988 and became a member of the credit union's board of directors at that time. Mrs. Gee was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a volunteer at Proctor's Theatre in Schenectady. Survivors include her husband, Edward O. Gee, whom she married in 1959; three daughters, Lori Ann McNeil of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Michelle E. Crupe of Rotterdam and Melanie Beth Jimenez of Manalapan, N.J.; a son, Edward O. Gee Jr. of Orlando, Fla; a sister, Carolyn Carver of Concord, N.H.; and a brother, James D. Bruce of Altamont. Burial will be in Capital City Cemetery in Rensselaer.
