Griffith, Marilyn E. (Pratt) RENSSELEAR Marilyn E. (Pratt) Griffith, 82, of Rensselaer died Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Van Rensselaer Manor. Marilyn was born to the late Walter S. and Alice C. Pratt. She graduated Van Rensselaer High School in 1951 and worked as a secretary for Watervliet Arsenal. Marilyn was a communicant of St. John's Church Rensselaer. Predeceased by her daughter, Doreen Griffith and brother, Ronald W Pratt. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Sharon Griffith; two sons, Raymond Griffith and Marc Griffith; two sisters, Carol (William) Houlton and Linda (Alex) Shannon; two brothers, Warren (Dorothy) Pratt and Wayne (Carolyn) Pratt; sister-in-law, Joyce Pratt; five grandchildren, Michele, Jason, Joe, Jessica, Ashley; and one great-grandson, Carson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Rockefeller Funeral Home and Parish of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph in Rensselaer where a Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated. Interment is in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer. The family would like to thank the staff of Van Rensselaer Manor for the care and compassion they have shown over the years.
