Ronald Santore , VRHS Class of 1963
Ronald J. Santore, age 72, of Castleton passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Albany Medical Center. Ronny was born on November 1, 1944, in Albany to the late William and Viola Santore Sr. He was employed by Rosch Brothers Construction as a carpenter for 30 years, and was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 291. He was a lifetime member of James Hill Hook and Ladder Fire Company in Rensselaer. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and antique cars; but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Beloved husband of 51 years to his high school sweetheart, Patricia Bond Santore; father of Lisa (Brian) Baird and Michele (Stephen) Wood; proud grandfather of Taylor and Dylan Wood and Chelsea and Courtney Baird; brother of the late William Santore Jr. Survived by sister-in-law, Margaret Santore; two aunts, an uncle and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
