Roberta Bobbie (Warren) Marks BRUNSWICK - Roberta Marks, 67, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Mrs. Marks was a graduate of Van Rensselaer High School. Prior to her retirement, she was the Bookkeeper for Tricomi Imports of Albany, Comptroller for Evergreen Country Club of Schodack, Comptroller for Normanside Country Club of Delmar and the Comptroller for the Troy Country Club of Troy. Ms. Marks was an active communicant of the Gilead Lutheran Church and was involved with many Church activities. She enjoyed knitting afghans, making appliques and greeting cards. She enjoyed bowling at the Sunset Lanes with her close friends Pat (Tom) Hitt and Bev (John) Biggar. She enjoyed her life at the ROUSE in Brunswick where she had many good friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Florence Warren. She is survived by sons John (Carol) Phillips of Saratoga Springs who was predeceased by his father Oren Phillips and son Ronald (Christine) Marks of Johnsonville, daughter and best friend Susan (David) Jensky of Sand Lake who are survived by their father Peter A. Marks of Troy, grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips and Landon Marks. The family wishes to thank St. Peter's Hospital, especially the kind and gentle staff at the Hospice Inn. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gilead Lutheran Church, 308 Brick Church Road (RT-278 in Brunswick), Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Morris - Stebbins - Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, Troy, NY on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
