Brian P Van Wormer , VRHS Class of 1961
WATERVLIET Brian P.Van Wormer, 73, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017. Brian was the son of the late George and Marjorie Van Wormer; and was the devoted husband of 31 years to Helen Van Wormer. Brian was a born entrepreneur and an avid outdoorsman. His most recent love was beekeeping; he owned B's Honey Co., and through this passion he mentored many new beekeepers. Along with his beloved wife, Brian will be forever missed by his son, Mark Van Wormer; daughter, Kimberly (Van Wormer) Gill; brother, Norman Van Wormer; grandchildren, Brady, Matthew, Sean, Jack, and Dewa; nephews, Ernest S. Van Wormer, and Terry Van Wormer; niece, Karen Blair, along with many other loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brothers, George Van Wormer Jr. and John Van Wormer.
