Vincent Lopez , VRHS Class of 1961
Vincent P. Lopez, age 73 years, of Third Street, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013. He was born in Albany and was a resident of Rensselaer for most of his life. Jack's Oyster House in Albany employed Vincent for many years. He liked to bowl and play bingo. He was a communicant of St. John The Evangelist and St. Joseph Church in Rensselaer, attending St. Joseph's Church for many years. Son of the late John J. and Margaret Staats Lopez; brother of Dolores (Jack) Pulver of West Sand Lake, Rita (Bill) Brown of Rensselaer, Robert (Dee Dee) Lopez of Troy and the late John and Charles Lopez; also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Wednesday morning at 10:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
