Squire Rumney, III , VRHS Class of 1962
RENSSELAER, NY: Squire Rumney III, age 73, of Rensselaer passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer. Squire was a 1962 graduate of Van Rensselaer High School, and a 1966 graduate of Cornell University. He retired after 25 years from CK Supply Co. (Van Patten Construction in Clifton Park). He enjoyed computers, reading and wood working. Husband of 50 years to Donna L. Cooke Rumney; father of Shannon Rumney (Craig) Willis and the late Squire Rumney IV; grandfather of Abby and Emma Rumney; brother of the late Mary Rumney (Victor) Vrigian. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush.
