William "Bill" J Poole, Jr , VRHS Class of 1987
Rensselaer- William J. Poole, Jr. age 52 yrs. of Fifth Street, Rensselaer passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his residence of natural causes. He was born on June 23, 1969 in Albany. Bill attended the Rensselaer School System and was a lifelong resident of the city. He worked for Dave Malstead at L & M Motors for 25 years holding various positions. Bill loved going to casino's, watching the NY Yankees and the Washington Redskins but his biggest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren in North Carolina and Florida. He was husband of the late Julie Fiato and son of the late William J. Poole, Sr. Bill is survived by his mother Virginia Cleary; his children Jeffrey (Christina) Schumaker, Gabrielle (Daniel) Mullis, William (Hanna) Poole III and Victoria Poole. Brother of Patrick (Lisa) Poole, Trina (Kit) LaMountain and Martin Poole, Sr. Grandfather of Camren, Jace, Zoey, Chandler, Crue, Whitley, with another due in 2022. He is also survived by his step-children Shawn, Hope, Allyson, David, Kristyn and Lyssa and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins and friends Honoring Bill's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.
