Jacqueline Blendell , VRHS Class of 1972
COEYMANS HOLLOW - On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the angels of heaven welcomed Jacqueline Blendell into eternal rest at the age of 70. Jackie was an avid baker, known for her wedding cakes, birthday cakes and cookies. Second only to the love for her grandson Tyler, was her love for a good cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Jackie loved to read and write and could often be found on the couch with a Charles Dickens book and a cup of hot tea. She loved Cape Cod, always looking forward to breakfast at the Wee Packet and dinner at the Ebb Tide. Jackie was the beloved wife of Paul Blendell; the incredible mother of Danielle Dragon (Brent) and Veronica Blendell (Terence); and the devoted grandmother of Tyler Dragon. Jackie is survived by her sister, Joann Kosinski; and brother, Lawrence Blondell Jr. A service in her memory was held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Coeymans Hollow.
