Michael J. Stewart, 76, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Van Rensselaer Manor. Born in Albany on April 1, 1950, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Meierhofer) and Howard F. Stewart Sr. Michael will be dearly missed by his loving family, including his siblings, Howard F. Stewart Jr., Barbara (Vito) Lourinia, Jacqueline (Charles) Bashant, Brian (Patricia) Stewart, and Kevin (Joanne) Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
