Michael Joseph Nato , VRHS Class of 1974
CASTLETON-ONHUDSON -- Michael J. Nato, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late John A. Nato Jr. and Shirley Allard Nato. Michael was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served 26 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was formerly employed by St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Michael is survived by his family and friends. A funeral service honoring his life was held at the McVeigh Funeral Home in Albany. The Rite of Interment, will full military honors, will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville at 11 a.m. Those wishing to remember Michael in a special way may send contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
