Donald Stanley Mulyca , VRHS Class of 1970
RENSSELAER - Donald Stanley Mulyca, 42, died on February 9, 1995 at the Albany Medical Center. Donald was born in Albany, NY on March 26th, 1952. Don grew up on Riverside Avenue in Rensselaer, NY and attended Van Rensselaer High School. After a short stint in the U.S. Navy, he became a big-rig truck driver and covered many miles in a big rig on the nation's highways. He loved to play his guitar and go camping with his family in the local state parks. Don is survived by his wife Sharon and his son Jonathan and daughter Kailey Mulyca. Predeceased by his father, John S. Mulyca, Don is survived by his mother, Sophia Mulyca, older brother, Thomas J (Charlene) Mulyca, and older sisters Sara Lyon, Sonia (Bob) Tuttle, and Elizabeth Allen. Relatives and close friends attended a private ceremony to celebrate Don's memory.
