Robert "Bill" W Spath , VRHS Class of 1947
Robert W. "Bill" Spath of Rensselaer, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026. Bill was born on December 2, 1927. He was the son of the late William Spath and Sarah (Ruff) Spath; husband of the late Anna (Winchell) Spath; and brother of the late Marie (William) Spath Franke. Bill was a Navy veteran, and served in both World War II and the Korean conflict. He is survived by several nieces and nephews who extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Van Rensselaer Manor for the compassionate care provided to Bill throughout his stay. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
