Scott Tedford , VRHS Class of 1990
Castleton-Scott W. Tedford Sr., beloved father, brother, son, and friend, passed away peacefully, on February 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Those close to Scott will remember him for his generosity, loyalty, and kindness. He was a man with unlimited abilities and a lifelong learner, who faced every challenge head on. Scott prioritized family over all things, spending his life helping as he tirelessly cared for those around him. While we grieve his passing, we find comfort in the impact he made on others. Scott is survived by his son Scott Tedford Jr., and daughter Amanda Tedford and his ten siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving parents, John Tedford Sr. and Carole Tedford. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 4-6pm to the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. A funeral home service will follow at 6:00pm. Private burial will be held in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
