Denise F (Muller) Keneston , VRHS Class of 1968

Denise F. Muller (Keneston), of North Greenbush, passed away suddenly on Tuesday January 23, 2024, at age 73, at Samaritan Hospital while surrounded by her family. She was born on March 10, 1950 to Walter and Alice Keneston in Albany NY, and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.

Denise grew up in Rensselaer NY, went to school at Van Rensselaer High School. Eventually in 1991 she moved to North Greenbush. When Denise met Peter Muller, the two were inseparable. They were married on February 7th 1981 at a private ceremony in East Greenbush NY and were happily married for 43 years. Denise and Pete shared 4 children between them.

Denise fell in love with being a mom and raising her children. Family came first and was above all else. She enjoyed camping with her family at Nickersons Campground for many years. The memories made there will last forever. She loved to travel with her husband, through the years they have taken many cruises and day trips to the casinos. Cape Cod and Niagara Falls were among her favorite places to visit. Going to hockey games to see the NJ Devils with her family was one of her favorite things to do. Denise was fiercely devoted to her grand/great grandchildren. She made it to all of their events and cheered them on in everything they participated in. She will be truly missed at all of these going forward. Spending time with her "grands" was her greatest joy. She was so proud of each and every one of them. Her reminders to set the clocks back and birthdays will definitely be missed. Her smiles and humms will remain in our minds as we remember the good days. We will all search for food that is "the best we ever had" and think of her as we enjoy it. We will cherish the joy and laughter she brought to our lives.

"Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened" -Dr. Suess
