Frederic S Lawrence , VRHS Class of 1975
CASTLETON-ONHUDSON -- Frederick S. Lawrence, 66 of Castletonon-Hudson, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, at home. Frederick was born in Burlingame, Calif., the son of Robert Lawrence and Alice Bullent. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Senior High School and had studied construction technology at Hudson Valley Community College. Frederick worked for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, as well as the Department of Higher Education, where he retired after 28 years of service. Frederick incorporated his love of music and film into practice through his work as a videographer for the Albany Firebirds in their early years. Frederick's other interests included cooking, baseball, football, several outdoor activities, and animals. Frederick was predeceased by his parents, Robert Lawrence and Alice Bullent; as well as his maternal grandmother, and uncle, Lula and Harold Bullent. Survivors include his cousins, Heather L. McRae of Brandon, Vt., and Jennie L. Schleimer of Fort Meyers, Fla., and several other cousins, nephews, and nieces. Per his request, no services will be held.
